NCSC Blog post: Malware & ransomware guidance: the reboot!
Over the last six months, there have been unprecedented changes in the way we live and work, with more of our lives moving online. Consequently, the nature of cyber-attacks (and the way in which they are conducted) has changed, with a growing threat from ransomware attacks.
To ensure that their guidance captures and reflects the changing nature of the incidents we’re likely to be dealing with, the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) has updated its mitigating malware and ransomware guidance; placing more of an emphasis on the importance of having up-to-date and tested offline backups and disabling or constraining scripting environments.
